Nicaragua lawmakers block operation of NGOs critical of President Ortega

Nicaraguan lawmakers on Thursday blocked five non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that had been critical of President Daniel Ortega from formally operating, after previously blocking five others, including a prominent human rights group.
